Brustb., Kopf nach hr. gewandt, vor Vorhang u. Bücherregal. Unten 8zeil. engl. Legende „S. T. COLERIDGE ESQR. | Is a native of Bristol [!], and was some time of Jesus college, | Oxford. While in that college he was looked on as a man of genius. | His poetical works have experienced a very flattering reception, and his | monody on the death of Chatterton has been much admired. When Sir | Alexander Bell went out as governor of Malta, he took this gentleman | with him as secretary, by which he became entitled to the usual pension | granted by government on those occasions.“
